I believe women and men should be treated equally. I don’t think that’s batshit crazy, do you? But here are some things that actually are batshit crazy:
- The Equal Rights Amendment, which states a person can’t be denied legal rights based on their sex, was proposed in 1923 and still hasn’t passed.
- 10 million females in the US suffer from an eating disorder and almost half of them are girls under 19yo.
- 1 in 6 women in the US have been the victim of rape or attempted rape.
- 3% of Fortune 500 company CEOs are women, but that makes sense considering…
- For every dollar a man makes, a woman makes 69.9 cents doing the same job.
It’s not in my nature to be radical, but I think people who are have pretty good reason to be. And no, I don’t think they’re batshit crazy, either.
